Your cruising tour today will start at early morning to visit the Cai Rang floating market which opened very soon in the morning. This is chance for you to explore one of the biggest floating markets in Mekong Delta and see the waterway becomes a maze of hundreds of boats packed with fruits, vegetables, plants, foods, etc. You also visit the orchard garden and enjoy the fresh fruits. Then continue drive to Sa Dec for enjoying the romantic and charming little Mekong town. Take part in a walking tour through the lively and authentic local market. Day 03: CHAU DOC

Spend today exploring the immense Mekong Delta on a Chau Doc River Life tour. Cruising along the Mekong on a traditional sampan, you will visit a floating market for discovering the role of local trading. A visit to a Cham village can help you learn about the history and culture of the Muslim Cham. From the 7th to 18th century, the Champa Kingdom encompassed a large area from the Central to the South Vietnam. Their main religious is the Hinduism and they worship the Brahma, Visnu, and Siva God. Here you can understand more about the Champa culture by a visit to the traditional Cham stilt homes and a local mosque. The next stops on your river cruise tour are the floating fish farms and local houses. An opportunity for you to experience a cruise through the 87 km long Vinh Te Canal. The canal is also geopolitically important because it stretches parallel with the Vietnam - Cambodia border from Chau Doc to Ha Tien, Kien Giang province. It's also a vital piece in Vietnam's transportation network. In the Vietnam's feudal time, this was the largest canal which was built by 80,000 Vietnamese and Cambodian workers and completed in 1824. The canal also has an important role in the South's transportation network. You will stop at a local restaurant in Chau Doc for enjoy lunch before drive to Tra Su Nature Reserve. Stop en route to visit a Khmer village and see the sugar being produced by hand from palm trees. You will understand why the palm trees are very useful for Khmer people's life. They use all parts of the trees - leaves, stem, trunk, and flowers by any way for their daily life. After that, you will visit Tra Su Nature Reserve, an ecological have for over 100 species of water bird and bats' colonies. The area protects the historical culture value of nature with flora and fauna to serve tourism and researching. Here you will enjoy a walk through the deep forest, then experience the stillness and serenity of this unspoilt natural environment on a small boat cruising through amongst half-submerged trees.
